Tax Nuggets Academy records your participation in live events and your watch time for on-demand videos. You can download a CPD report as a PDF or CSV to keep with your professional development records.

What activities are recorded in my CPD report?

• Live events - your total attendance time in the event
• Videos - your total watch time
• Group CPD Sessions (for Teams and Firms) - your group's total watch time

Does this count towards my CPD requirements?

CPD is self-assessed based on your circumstances. Your professional body or employer decides which activities meet its requirements and what evidence it accepts. Use the report to document your Tax Nuggets activity, and check your applicable rules before claiming hours.

Your standard account export is a CPD report rather than a separate certificate for each activity.

Do skipping and faster playback count?

Skipping or dragging the playhead forward does not add the minutes you skipped to your recorded watch time.

If you watch at a faster speed, the report reflects the time spent watching, not the length of video covered. For example, watching a 60-minute video at 2× speed typically records about 30 minutes; at 1.5×, about 40 minutes.

Pausing does not add watch time. The total may differ slightly from a stopwatch because Mux also includes brief loading, buffering and seeking time. The same watch-time measure is used for videos watched in Group CPD Sessions.
